I just figured out how to enter my work outs on here using my phone. It says I have an extra 490 calories. Am I supposed to be eating more when I work out? I never have so I was curious.

Some people do, some people don't. You can try it and if you're not seeing any progress when you eat more, then continue to stick to your base calories.0

Yes you are suppose to eat those calories back. Because MFP already tells you have many calories you should eat to lose weight without excersize, and eating under that can hinder your progress.0

Split the difference. Eat back half.0
