Hi! I started C25K on August 12th. I am about to start week 4. Do you think it is realistic that I could be ready for a 5K on September 29th. It will be right at the end of my training. Will I be making a fool of myself?

No you can do it! Don't expect to run it in 30 minutes but you will be fine Running with a group will really push you to perform your best, and there will be people walking the entire thing so don't worry about finishing last either.0

Oh you'll absolutely be ready. Firstly you'll surprise yourself at how effective the plan is and just how adaptive your body is. Secondly signing up to that event will keep you so motivated to stick to the plan. Finally on race day itself you get a major boost from the event. You definately won't make a fool of yourself, you'll achieve something and you'll feel very proud afterwards.
Sign up, good luck and enjoy!0 -
DO IT DO IT DO IT!! I'm running 5km tomorrow, aiming for 45 minutes, and I'm at week 6 of C25K. I bet you can0

Even if you don't run the whole thing, the experience will be worth it!0 -
You can definitely do it! It's great incentive to stick with the program by having a race at the end of it! You'll definitely be able to run it and run well. Enjoy!0

Thanks for the encouragement! I finished week 4 today and felt pretty good at the end. Is this a breakthough week? Does the transition from week 4 to week 5 discourage?0
