How much weight is enough too make a difference where you yourself can feel and see it... My pants are loose and my pudge has gone down.. But I still feel fat... Does any one else have this problem ? I've still got 30 more lbs to go.. But I'm just wondering when that light bulb will go off in my head.. I do believe this is because I carry my weight in my mid section / muffin top

It's different for everyone. Some days I still feel fat. Other days I catch a glimpse of myself while passing a mirror and see the fat guy. In my case it's image dismorphia, but I'll get over it in time. So will you! Keep at it, it takes the mind some time to catch up.0

I have to agree with Magerum, I have dropped 311 lbs. and should feel like a million bucks but I still live with that obese man's mentality which is very hard to get past. Do I have day where I pass a mirror and go Damn!! Yep those days do happen but there are plenty of others where I will avoid mirrors at all cost. It is a process and I am sure I will eventually get there... Best of Luck!!!0

There are days my self image is terrible. I feel fat and look fat. Other times I look in the mirror and feel pretty good about how I look. People tell me I'm going to dry up and blow away. Though I know that will never happen it makes me aware of how much I have lost. It happens and just stick with it.0

I agree with all the above. I have past my goal and there are sometimes, usually when I see someone that I feel is thinner or has a better body than I do, when I feel like I haven't lost any weight at all and I am still the same size I was 50 pounds ago. I have to glance at my reflection in windows as I walk by to see if I look 50 pounds heavier and sometimes I see it which is really freaky. Then there are some days I look in the mirror and I say, Damn I look good. You will get there, I think I had lost about 20 pounds before I seen a difference.0

Yea gaining weight really does change a lot about a person as well as loosing it of course.. But that feeling you get when your not doing it for anyone else but yourself because you simply truly feel uncomfortable in your own skin.. Yea that feeling.. I'm determined to get rid of. I just most diffidently don't want my own personal fears to over power my progress0
