Looking for friends for support

I have been trying and trying and trying and once again I am trying to lose again. I am Reading the Beck Diet Solution along with using myfitnesspal. I have a long way to go. I currently weigh 208lbs after losing 5lbs over the last 2 weeks and my goal at the moment is to lose 60lbs however, I am taking this goal in small amounts and my first goal is 10lbs and once I achieve it I am going to treat myself to my very first professional manicure and get gel nails. I am not one for putting myself first and I am sure once I reach 10lbs I will try and convince myself that I cannot justify the money on getting a manicure...lol
This time last year I weighed 193. I have a lot of stress in my life right now and I comfort eat to cope. I have Hypothyroidism but I do not use it as an excuse why I can't lose weight, I am just highlighting it incase there are others on the forum who sometimes suffer with the symptoms who would also like to be friends.

you can add me if you like. I love to help people with some motivation. I have a few friends that are the same on here. I really do enjoy this site and will be on it as long as i can be. Have a great day and i know the change will happen. It just takes time and some dedication. Sometimes the process is slow and you have to find out what works for YOU, that is what takes the time.0 -

Howdy!
I'm relatively new to MFP, but do my best to motivate others I also have the diagnosis of hypothyroidism (stupid thyroid anyway...not working like it ought to...boohiss!! )
I also encourage a sense of humor - it helps with stress and if you laugh long enough, it's exercise!
However, I believe in having an open food diary, if only to fulfill my part of "mother hen" and making sure that others are taking care of themselves (and yes, I know everyone is a grown up...I'm just saying that this is how I show that I'm *there* for somebody...even if it's just to "listen" while they de-stress.)
Everybody needs friends...even anti-social people0 -
