So I went over tonight by almost 300 because for no reason at all I just felt like I needed to eat two bowls of Golden Grahams and a package of peanut butter crackers. I wasn't overly hungry, just totally craving carbs. I have been running more than normal lately so I am thinking is my body trying to tell me something? Its not like I don't eat enough carbs, I usually go over on them daily. My protein and fat is usually under what I "should have", especially fat. Does anyone have any suggestions to help curb this? Most days I'm okay, but some days I just feel like I'm totally starving myself. I think I might need to try to eat more fat to help me feel full, but I guess mentally I have a hard time doing that, because I feel like I can't eat as much when I eat foods higher in fat.
What do you do?:noway:

My friend who is a trainer and nutritional for years told me to eat more lean protein and drink my water and when ever I am in a crush and just seem to ready to eat the house, she said to eat a handful of almonds you get a protein and a fat....it has worked so far. hope that helps. Keep at it. You are changing the way your are used to eating and exercising so you body may one more but give it the health stuff.....

I tend to think that eating more protein will help you stay full longer.
  • Protien does help curb hunger. Also, could you add more healthy carbs, like fruit and whole grains? It may help. Good luck!
