I was checking out the HRM's because I truly need to invest in one. Everyone raves about the F6 but after review I want to try the F11. It just has a few more features. The down part is its just a little more expensive but I have no problems gettting my money's worth from this. If anyone has one would you please give me your opionion. Thanks

I have one and it works well. The only *down* side is it measures how many calories you have ACTUALLY burned far more accurately than the guesstimates given on gym equipment. That also means that when you register a 3 mile run on this site and it tells you you have burnt 500+ calories, the F11 will no doubt register in the 300 - 400 range. Not a bad thing though if you take calorie control seriously.0

I received an F11 for Christmas and like dannykelly181 it does measure LOWER than the machines, what MFP says and my old MIO. That is a bummer! As I said I got mine for Christmas and started using it around the 30th and the battery is already going. You that have one, do You yourself change the battery or do you have to send it in? I read on here once that these may be changed by us and that they sync with whatever machines you use that have HRM's on them, have/do any of you owners know of this! I am sorta tech retarded so most things I do not get, sorry!0

Never had to change the battery on the watch, but have done so myself several times on the sensor. yes it does sync with gym equipment if the equipment is designed to do so, however that will still not give you an accurate calories burned reading from the machine. Also as the F11 logs your fitness diary for you, you need to have the watch on really, or you might as well by a £20 base model Polar.0

Thanks dannykelly181! I will really check it out today and see if it is the sensor. I have a commercial grade Precor elliptical and heart rates usually run close but the calories burned at the end is always lower on my Polar than the Precor!:grumble: I always wear both the strap and the watch. I will ck the sensor today, thanks!0
