Fitbit Ultra - worth the cash?

I read through some older posts on here about Fitbit vs. HRM vs. bodybugg. I'm hoping you'll indulge me as I'd like to get more info. I had a bodybugg - wore it for about 8 months. I didn't feel like I got much out of it. The food logging app wasn't nearly as easy to use as MFP and I couldn't charge it with my work computer (software interferance). Since I'm only at the home computer once or twice a week, this was a pain in the neck for me. That said, I found that data interesting; although not timely for me. I've read that the Fitbit is a bit easier to sync and to use. I'm just a little nervous dumping another $100 into another tool. I like the idea of getting more timely information about the calories I'm burning throughout the day. Is it worth it? Is it really as easy to use as it sounds? Can you sync using more than one computer? Anyone have issues syncing with their work computer? Any problems with software interferance?
I've been on MFP off and on for a year; joined the gym at the same time. Still go 4x/week for Zumba and Zumba Sentao. Tried going it solo for a couple months and stalled and lost/gain the same 5 pounds. Need to get back on track. Have reaffirmed my goal of logging on MFP daily as well as continuing to go to the gym 4x/week. I know there isn't a magic pill or potion but that doesn't me from wishing it existed. LOL! Best wishes on your own journey and thanks in advance for any feedback on the Fitbit Ultra.

I can speak only to the old Fitbit, which I received as a gift. I think it's a lot of fun. Yes, it can be synched on more than one computer and the set up is usually pretty easy. You have to be within 15 feet of the charger/sensor for your information to be sensed and uploaded, and I don't believe Fitbit sells more than the one sensor.
A truly active, self-aware person might not get as much out of Fitbit, but an ordinary person who's trying to motivate herself or himself is likely to find it helpful.
It doesn't take the place of a heart rate monitor, and I take the calorie burn readings with a pound of salt.0 -
I'd really be interested to know more too, particuarly as the fitbit costs about £80. Are the readings accurate? I currently have a pedometer which counts steps and miles, and calories burned, but I don't really trust the calories burned figure so would be interested in something more reliable.0
