New socks needed

I need a sock suggestions from the runners out there. I know cotton isn't the best. i had some blend but I am still getting blisters on the aches of my feet. Any great socks that you recommend?

    no nonsence! i have flat feet am 190,...theses r great socks! about $5/6pk at walkmart!

    I like the Belaga socks. a little pricy, but are good on the feet.

    I use drymax thin socks. absolutely love them and have noticed massive difference in my feet from switching from cotton socks.

    I am using Swiftwick compression socks for my running (3x week, 5-8 miles per run) and have had no blisters or hot spots. Definitely getting away from cotton will help. For my backpacking trips I will use a polypro or silk liner sock inside my wool hiking socks. The compression sock or liner sock is snug to your foot and the shoe or outer sock will rub against that instead of a cotton sock sticking to the shoe and rubbing on your foot, basically eliminating blisters.
