I just had lunch and I had baked salmon. I am not a fish eater but thought this would be a healthy meal. I logged it into my food diary and it shoot back I consumed over 600 calories for just that item. Is this wrong, do I need to look for another type of fish to eat? Please help:sad:

ummmmmmm how was it prepared ? unless it was deep fried in butter that is WAY off.... I eat baked salmon at least once a week, its caloric count is pretty good.

Depends upon where you got it--was it at a restaurant? If not, then no way it was that many calories.

It was baked with seasoning and lemon. I ate two small pieces, what do you think the calories should be?

It was prepared in a chow hall on a buffet line.

Chow Hall? Ummm...I would guess there is butter in it? I just googled and found several other websites with calorie suggestions on all types of ways to cook salmon. Have you compared it with googling?

No, I think the salmon that is loaded into MFP database is off on the calories. I did google it and I got different numbers. Now that I can actually see the calories I'm eating I'm super paranoid. I LOVE it. Thanks for all your comments.
