I keep thinking even though I feel I eat pretty healthy that I don't.
What is your opinion on my food diary?
Any tips/hints/suggestions?

Eat about 500 calories more. Eat about 5x the protein. Find a healthier cereal or just avoid cereal. Try Almond milk or Flax milk instead of cow's milk.
It's hard to say from just one day to look at though.0 -
I don't know how you set your weight loss goals, but it's generally recommended that people who only need to lose 10 pounds aim for .5lbs of weight loss per week. So you may want to check that in your settings.
You should be aiming for at least 1200 calories a day.
I would try to get more protein into your diet, for a few reasons: it will help you to feel fuller, longer and it will also help you to preserve muscle mass.
I have absolutely no aversion to dairy, so if you like milk/cheese/yogurt, eat it. I eat a lot of it myself with no adverse effects. Great sources of protein and calcium, and cheese adds a lot of flavor to dishes.
Agree that Rice Krispies don't really provide much nutrition, so you may want to look at other cereals. I find the ones from Kashi to be quite good. Kashi Go Lean has a lot of protein and fiber for only 10 additional calories.
It's hard to just hit your calorie goals at first, let alone figure out how to get maximum nutrition from fewer calories. Hang in there--we all learn how to make better choices over time. You will too! :flowerforyou:0 -
Well, you are most definitely not eating enough. Try adding some grains or beans to your diet to get those healthy nutrients you need, like protein, etc? I would suggest adding fiber or a vitamin like calcium to your diary settings so you can see what else you need to consume. Honestly, what you're eating, just more of it, would be perfect!0

Yes...eat more. Get up to at least 1200 calories.0

only thing i can pick up on is the cereal.. change it for like special K or all bran something more healthier rice krispies are full of sugar.. you also need to increase your calories by at least 500, your body will shut down and go into starvation mode so instead of burning fat you'll be storing it..0

I suppose the thing to take away is that all of the food you have can be tweaked to get more nutrition out of it- I would focus on that over calorie content! Calories, by literal scientific definition, are "energy" and therefore give us the ability to function as human bodies.0
