Looking for advice. I currently run outdoors love running outdoors and have no desire to change that. However their are times when running outdoors is just not possible. I have 3 children 2 of them quite young and if my husband is working and they are at home i can,t abandon them and go running. I don,t feel comfortable running in the dark, we live in a safe area but I am easily spooked and every rustle in the bushes makes me jump LOL too many scary movies. Also I don,t like running in ice and snow and we have had a couple of bad winters here. I am very clumsy and am terrified of doing myself an injury. So with this in mind i am considering a treadmill. We have a home gym so we have room for one but I don,t want ot spend a fortune when I will mainly run outside equally i don,t want a rubbish one that will frustrate me. Can anyone recommend a decent cheapish treadmill.

I like the livestrong line. (Even though I don't quite have one yet they are still good)
Also don't cheap out on them because you will get what you pay for. (Learned that one the hard way.)0 -
I have a Sole F80, Bought it from ****sSportinggoods...I absolutely LOVE IT ! Its a fold up one, but its ROCK solid ! I weigh just over 200 pounds and when I first started running I was up over 235 and it handled it without a problem.
Sole Has a Great reputation , I wouldnt hesitate buying another one or recommending one ! Great unit for the price.0 -
I've got a Pacemaster that has given me & my family close to 10 years of service (first 5 were pretty light, mostly just me walking) since then I've run on it (less the last few years as I run outdoors all year 'round now) and my teenage kids use it pretty regularly. If I had an unlimited budget it would have been a Precor but......
(sorry I missed the decent & cheapish.........my first treadmill was cheapish and wasn't decent, store brand from a big dept store)0 -

My fitness center has a really great Startrak one that I love. No idea about the cost, though.
ETA: Ahahaha, nevermind, it's like 4000 bucks now that I'm looking it up.0
