Hello Everyone! *New excited member*

Hi there! My name is Jared Kandlstorfer, and I'm an 18 year old guy from Ohio,USA. Over the course of my life, I have been at the mercy of my bad eating habits, habitual binge eating, and low self esteem
I've finally did something- I set out on an almost 100 pound weight loss journey. Im doing this for many reasons- my own personal health, confidence, military reasons, and the hopes of finding that "someone". I have incorporated a low Carb, high protein, moderate fat diet, with weight training and moderate cardio. On top of all, I practice Intermittent Fasting and Extended fasting for 2-3 days a week. I'm down to 305 from 325 in 3 weeks, and I plan to keep going till I get my goal of 220!(it'll be very tough)

  • Welcome! Be careful with the fasting though or your body will hit a plateau. What part of the military are you looking for? I'm in the Marines and can offer a lot of information on all of it regardless of branch.

    Thank you all very much. I've never seen such a kind and hospitable community in ages. And Wayne- I'm looking into Air force but I don't meet Max weight Req :(
  • Send me some questions about it through messaging so as not to flood this post. Let me know what you have to meet and what your physical fitness test standards are to pass and I can give you exact workouts specifically for that. I've trained a lot of guys going into the military to meet what they had to so they could go. Definitely would be excited to help you reach that goal!
