The things we value in life

The one thing I value in the world is my loving partner, no matter how far away from me she is, as she always makes me feel worthwhile and like I'm a good person.

If I'm hurting it's like I've got razor blades dancing inside me, cutting me, but when we speak she turns them into butterflies and they dance and tickle and soothe me.

That's why I love her so much and why I wouldn't swap her for anything or anyone.

How about you guys?

Ah that's sweet. I value my family and my friends, and I've learned to value life itself because it's short and each of us is only a number, we don't matter to the world, when our number's up it's up and that's just the way it is. So I value my life and the people in it now. x

The sanctuary of my home. So many people are not fortunate enough to have a roof over their head and somewhere to call a home and haven.

    Amen, brother.
  • That's so sweet Eddie! It's nice to have someone like that in your life.
For me, it's my dogs. They are so funny and so cute and so loving. They make me get out of the house even when I just really don't want to go anywhere. There are other things that I value too, but it's my dogs that get me out of bed in the mornings. If I didn't have them, I'd just be wasting away.

My son and family members in general.

Also, eating, yes I said it, eating. Our son was tube fed pretty much 100% of his nutrition for about 2.5 years due to medical issues. I am still not over the wonder of watching him eat and take pictures of it with my cell phone quite often.

Without a doubt, my two sons. Even though they are young men now, they are the centre of my universe.

That My wife and son have good health and I am still around to enjoy it all.

Toast: " To the future whatever it brings ", as long as we're together to enjoy it.
