I think I'm getting fitter,

Wellllll in my book there are 4 types of push up from military to mega girly

Military -- Toes on the ground
Girly ---- knees on the ground
Ultra girly -- using the back of a couch
Mega girly -- leaning against a wall

So a cpl of months ago I decided I wanted to do the "100 push up challenge" so I tried and realised I couldn't even manage 1 military push up .... not even ONE ,,, shocking right? So I thought fine Ill do the 100 push up challenge with girly push ups So I got set and tried, 1 was a major struggle and 3 was almost impossible.

Soooo I decided I would do the 100 push up challenge with ultra girly push ups .... and I done the ultra girlys for weeks untill I could do 20 in a row, then low and behold I had to get surgery and I was unable to continue :(

A few days ago, part of a challenge in one of my MFP groups was to do 50 push ups and I thought eeeek!!!!!! so I got in position for the girly push ups (on my knees) and I done them 5 sets of 10 with 2 min breaks in between.

WOO go me Im well chuffed :D

Well done! Congrats! :) I can only do about 3 military push-ups, so I can relate. :)

    Great job:wink:
  • That is killer good! I just restarted doing pushups and while my arms and shoulder scream at me while I do them, they sure look good a few hours after! lol! Doing 50 is a feat of military standard in my mind (not like I know, I am just thinking of all those army movies where they say "Drop! and give me 50!")
