I just wanted to stop by to say hi. This is day 2 for me and MFP. My sister has lost about 40 lbs in 6 months using MFP so I figured I would give it a try. After a move from Florida to Texas and having to live with some family members for a few weeks, my diet went out the window. Well, now that we are moved into our own place, I would like to make the efforts to lose a little weight. I am a stay at home mom and have a 2 year old boy. I want to lose about 50 lbs to get to my pre-pregnancy weight.

I've had a slow start. I have no self control and am a sucker for the occassional piece of chocolate. LOL. At least this program is helping me be more aware of where my calories/fat/carbs are coming from and slowly it's helping my portion control, which is one of my main problems....large meals at night. Well, hopefully slow start turns into determined results that will last...not just a quick crash and burn type diet.0

MFP is great for enlightening you on how many calories, carbs, fat, protein you really eat if you track it. I'll bet for most its an eye opener. Good luck with meeting your goals.0
