Sugar is my downfall!

I've only been watching my weight for a month or so, and I've been tracking my food and exercise here for just short of a week. I notice that I'm doing really well with my calories; most days, I have plenty left over! However, I consistently go over my sugar level. Should I be worried about this, or would it be alright to just concentrate on the calories? I have a huge sweet tooth, so its hard to cut down any more than I already have...

I have the same problem, but usually my sugar goes over because of fruit. I try to eat 2-3 pieces of fruit a day and even that sugar counts toward your totals. However, I don't worry about it so much, since fruit is healthy and filling. I think it depends on where your sugar is coming from.
  • Oh, good! I was having the same problem, but I also eat a lot of fruit. That makes me feel better :)

Yeah, mostly it seems to be fruit that gets me. I've cut out baked sweets almost completely. I'm glad that I'm not the only one!
