New and looking for friends!

Hey MFP people! I've tried to lose these last 20 lbs for so long now you'd think I'd give up by now... but I can't! I want them gone so badly and today I really sat down and realized why this hasn't worked for me in the past: I let the food and the calorie counting run my life and become so obsessed that I eventually break down and get sick of it. I can't live to eat! That's crazy... I need to eat to live. Food is food and it should NOT have this strong of a hold on me. I'm super active, LOVE sports and exercise and would much rather work my a** off then focus all my weight loss on a lower food intake. Please add me if you think we'd make a good weight loss match, just please send a message with it so I know why you're adding me! Thanks for reading this :)
