Ready, set go!

Hi - I have just finished my 2nd day and feel good. My husband is out of the country and I am going to see him in 9 weeks. Plus we are going to a wedding on Dec 1st with all of his relatives. I want to look really good!
I could stand to lose about 50 pounds total but am not quite ready to commit to 1200 calories a day. So I bumped it up a little so that I can be realistic. I have never tried a forum for weight loss support before and am looking forward to it. I did try WW last year - the online version - but I was dissapointed that a lot of the foods I ate weren't in the list. I really, really like that so far, almost everything I have eaten here is listed. Of course, I'm wasn't convinced that a cup of watermelon had 2 grams of fat, so I just found a different item listing.

Welcome you have come to the right place. I have also used WW many times in the past, but have found tracking at MFP much better for me. My suggestion if to use the community part of the site often and build a team of fellow members who can help keep you motivated. Good Luck on your journey. I think your goal is very worth the effort.0
