Ok, so here's my story.....
My wife has been on MFP for quite some time now, and it did wonders for her. I never really had a weight problem up until about 12-18 months ago. It's really not a HUGE problem, but I'm a 5'10", 34 year old man weighing in about 205 lbs. I finally discovered I needed to drop a few pounds when I went to put on my interview suit the other day, and couldnt button the pants. Awesome................
I have never been much of an exerciser, but I do enjoy the outdoors. I am an avid gardener (w. a Master Gardener certification in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island), and a candlepin bowling fanatic. Every so often, I attempt to walk a few miles at night w. my wife when my sore knees will allow for it
So anyway, about a week in to MFP, I have found myself being more conscious of what I'm eating, and in what quantities. Odds are, I'm going to need some encouragement to keep at it, but so far, so good!
