Creatine and Glutamine Dosage Recommendtions?

Based on my limited knowledge of Creatine, I thought that one weeks worth of ingesting 20 mg for loading was OK, but after that 5mg to maintain is satisfactory. David has us taking 10mg for the preworkout and an additional 10mg after the workout for a total of 20mg daily. I thought the body could only handle after loading 5 mg. daily for maintentance. Isn't 20 mg wasteful and/or excessive?
I have not clue about Glutamine so I guess I am asking about taking 20 mg. daily also. Isn't that also potentially wasteful and/or excessive?

All of it can be wasteful/unnecessary. You and your doctor are really the only ones that know best as to if it helps you.0

Glutamine isn't really needed
Creatine you could load 20g a day for a week then transition to 3-5g 4x a week to maintain saturation or just take 5g a day for a month then 3-5g 4x a week to maintain
20mg a day isn't going to do a whole lot0 -
(assuming your units are supposed to be g not mg)
I was always under the impression 5g was fine after the optional loading phase. I've always taken it post workout when I've used creatine and taken a spoonfull (think it is teaspoon/serving) with water or my post workout shake.
I've never taken glutamine as any whey has a lot anyway.0
