Hello everyone! i've been getting pretty addicted to protein smoothies. I generally have one for breakfast and one with my dinner. My all time favorite as of now is cookies and creme protein powder with peanut butter and a banana. Super simple and tastes amazing!

So on that note whats your favorite protein smoothie recipe?

I like to use sugar-free coffee syrups in my protein shakes. I think my favorite right now is the "almond joy" shake -- chocolate protein powder, almond milk, chia seeds, and a tbsp each of chocolate, coconut, and almond syrup.
  • thanks for the replies! im def gonna have to try the almond shake. i found a coconut chocolate protein powder that would go great with that! Do the syrups give it to much sugar?

1 heaping scoop of LIfe's Basic Plant-Based Protein Powder in Chocolate mixed with ice and 12 ounces unsweetened almond milk in a blender. I get mine at Sprout's.

Either vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder
    1 cup unsweetened almond milk
    1 tsp instant coffee granules
1/4 cup frozen bing (dark cherries)
1 tblsp PB2 (dried peanut powder) ... 45 cals for 2 tblsp and much easier to blend up in the morning than a glop of peanut butter!

Not so long as you use the sugar-free ones.
