What healthy food do you LOVE?

Is there a healthy food that you love to eat?

My favorite thing right now is fresh, juicy pears. SO GOOD! :) I think I prefer a good pear over chocolate. Yeah, the sugar is there in fruit...but it's still fruit so it's on my list when I go shopping.

Anyone want to share what you're favorite thing is to eat? I'd like to get more ideas to put on my grocery list.

Fennel salad with yoghurt, harelnuts, raisins, honey and cinnamon. I'd climb roughshod over somebody close to get to it:

I like to make quick plain oatmeal and then stir in sugar free jelly with added fiber. Then on top I add a natural peanut butter or this natural white chocolate peanut butter I found at the store. It's my favorite healthy breakfast.

Spinach. I like putting it in salads, smoothies, pasta, eggs, and most recently I've been cooking it with some left over rice. I put a little bit of olive oil into a small skillet, add garlic and spinach and cook it just a little, throw in 1/2 a cup of left over brown rice and eat it with whatever I'm having for lunch or dinner. I've had it for breakfast also with an egg. Yum. :)

Frozen green grapes? Really? Do you freeze them whole? I'm intrigued, I love grapes!

Red cabbage - raw in a salad, sauteed with other veggies (stir fry), stirred in with quinoa or brown rice, veggie broth soups

Kale/chard - same as above! Kale chips > potato chips. I've grown to love raw kale, one of the healthiest of all the veggies

Quinoa - with veggies, or cold as/with a salad salad with black beans/corn/cilantro/tomatoes/endless possibilites!

    Also: curry and hot peppers
