Daily Nutrient Intake Averages - Generalization

Cholesterol - The American Heart Association recommends that you limit your average daily cholesterol intake to less than 300 milligrams. If you have heart disease, limit daily intake to less than 200 milligrams.

Fiber - Women need 25 grams per day and men should get 38 grams per day, according to an Institute of Medicine formula based on getting 14 grams of fiber for every 1,000 calories.

Sugar - The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends: 37 grams for men (150 cal, 7.4tsp) and 25 grams for women (100 cal, 5tsp).
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recommends: 32 grams (128cal, 6.4tsp) for a 2000 calorie diet.
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) doesn’t provide specific guidelines but claims that it can be substituted for other carbohydrate sources, in moderation.

Sodium - The 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend limiting sodium to less than 2,300 mg a day — or 1,500 mg if you're age 51 or older, or if you are black, or if you have high blood pressure, diabetes or chronic kidney disease.

Potassium - The average adult should have a minimum of 2000mg-3000mg of potassium per day

    Flawed numbers, i take in 1300+ milligrams of cholesterol per day. My cholesterol levels are superb. Just saying.
