ANY CHUBBY PEAR SHAPED WOMEN THAT CAN RELATE

Hey, AvengeRosco here!
I'm new here and would like some friends I can relate too.
Height: 5"1
My Current Weight: 135lbs
My Goal Weight: 125lbs
My Ultimate Goal Weight: 118lbs

I'm 20 years old and have been overweight since I was 8 years old. I wasnt aware of the large amounts of carbs and sweet food I ate yet I was always bigger then my peers. In my mind I was always the fat one, and all the boys I fancied like someone else who was way better looking and slimmer. Throughout my life I've been called fat, chunky etc even my dad dropped hints.. And said Im winning a loosing battle. (great support eh?!).. At my heaviest I was 161lbs, I'm a size 12 on top and my lower half is a cursed 16.. Only problem is my thighs are HUGE.. Rant over.. Anyone relate, or wanna chat on MFP? :)

    HI! I'm a long pair shape!!
    5 foot 9 and 154lbs would like to be 140lbs!
    I'm 47 and I used to be size 8 top and 10 bottom but after 4 children I am now 10-12 on top and I now my size 16 jeans feel too tight! I lost a lot off my thighs 2 years ago doing Dukan but it's slowly creeping back on!
    I used to eat lots of sweet stuff but I walked/cycled everywhere and and it didn't seem to stick to me! Unfortunately, I think everything I've eaten in the last 10 years has stuck to me from my waist to my knees!
    I've had a real eye opener logging on food, it's been a surprise how unbalanced my eating had become!

  • i can definitely relate! i am now about 147lbs, 22yrs old. 5'1. my heaviest was actually 160 ... ive gotten myself down to 129! however as you can see my weight is coming back up! . i do so good for a long period of time and then just fall off! and gain it all back. im really getting tired of it. and i know i need to get better control. my goal weight is 115 (maybe bigger/smaller) my main issue is and always has been my stomach :( even when i got down to 129 i still had a pretty big tummy which stinks! but i want to do it! good luck!

    I can't believe that I haven't seen your reply. See I've lost weight since this post but the weight is coming off slowly!!!

    Hey sorry for the '6months too late reply' but I see what you're saying. May I ask what Dukan is? Yes logging has made me realise that I ate soo much crap and some of the foods I didn't realise were so detrimental.
    Any progress in the past months??

    I'm very pear shaped, but we can all even it out as long as you wear brighter/patterned items on top and darker/plainer bottoms.
    I find tops that come in just below the bust or stop below my hips help to balance out my shape...

    I can totally relate. I'm 5'1", started at 160-ish losing weight. I'm down to 131 now, but I still think my thighs are pretty big.

    I'm hoping that when I get to my goal weight of 115, my body will even out a bit more.

    For me, I have a hard time being short and pear-shaped because I think it tends to make people think I'm even more overweight than I am.

    I'm defo pear shaped. Though I've gotta say, I started doing this Brazil Butt Lift at home workout program by Beach Body about three weeks ago to target my lower body and I can already see a big difference. I don't mind being heavier on bottom, but I want it to be toned muscle and not flabby fat. In three weeks plus counting calories here, I can see improvement in tone, reduction of cellulite, a better shape for my butt and I've lost inches around my thighs! Pretty pumped about it.
