Okay football fans, I need your ideas. For those of you who love to watch the Sunday (or other day) games with some munchies, what will you be serving to keep it healthy *and* tasty?

    Carrots and salsa
Cut up a bell pepper into strips and top strips with mashed black beans
    Mini chicken lettuce wraps
    Homemade baked sweet potato chips
  • Hummus and cucumbers
    Sea salt almonds
    Pop Chips

Thanks for the ideas, all! Keep 'em coming. I love the lettuce wraps idea!

    SoutherPeas-what are pop chips?

Not a football fan, but some ideas are:

    1. seaweed chips (I like Annie for spicy wasabi or make your own by toasting nori strips after seasoning)
    2. kale chips (another type of chip you can eat a ton of)
    3. roasted chickpeas (a million ways to spice these up)
    3. corn, tomato, black bean salsa - eat with tortilla chips, baked potato chips, or just with a spoon (add rice to soak up liquids if you want)

Try for things that are savory, a bit salty, and have a crunch!

We typically try to plan a meal during football games so that we snack less and have our mouths empty for yelling at the TV

Sunday is the first Patriots game for us so we're planning on chili in the crock pot. The recipe I use is from a low-carb slow cooker cookbook so it's fairly healthy but honestly I'll probably eat 2 servings over the course of the game and just skimp on my other meals throughout the day.
