Just an odd question. According to MFP you subtract 20 calories for an ounce of breast milk consumed? I have a friend that uses it in their coffee and was curious. How can it subtract calories? any theories? TKS:laugh:

does that not mean, subtract 20 calories per ounce consumed by your baby?0

I'm guessing it means consumed by your baby, not by you... You subtract calories because your body expends calories creating it.0

I think that it means that your baby consumes...Nursing burns calories....consuming it will add them like any other food...0

Man I did not even think about that!! No wonder I am so freaking hungry all the time. I need to update my profile stat so MFP realizes that I'm nursing.0
