Insanity and abs

I'm on Insanity day 10. I've been a little sore, especially in my legs, but my abs aren't feeling much. I'm careful to keep my core contracted through the workout. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm in the final week of Month 1, and I haven't had sore abs either, but i have lost lots of inches in my waist. This program is more of a fat burning program, so I feel you may not feel as much in your abs. I've incorporated extra ab workouts aside from Insanity.0

I'm having the same issue, but others I know have sore abs. They keep their abs contracted during most of the workout, but it wasn't until they focused on their breathing and form that they started feeling sore. I keep my abs contracted and I focus on form, but I feel like I'm going to hyperventilate if I breath each time I bring my knees up during the high knees section. The only way I ever feel sore abs is when I do standard crunches or reverse crunches.0

Planks are a great exercise for the abs. so if you're looking to do some extra work, i would definitely consider doing those.0

I definitely had sore abs, but only after the Cardio Abs workout. Before that, it was entirely my legs, butt, and arms.0
