Moving to Big Lake, Texas

I currently live 20 min west of Atlanta Georgia - my husband was just offered a job in Big Lake Texas which will start in a few weeks. He is a truck driver and will be hauling oil.

I am hoping to meet someone or two or three from that general area. Big lake is a small town (less than 3,000 people) so not very likely someone from there but perhaps odessa or midland.

    Well, I'm not from Big Lake but I do know people that are from there and people that work there. I live in a small town called Nolan that is 20 miles south of Sweetwater and 45 miles north west of Abilene. I really hope that you like Texas and I may be the closest one you find to there. I would love to be your friend.
