Mine is kind of boring but it makes it easy to stay within calories with (few) temptations. It also helps that I am feeding just me and not a family:

    Dairy:
    - oikos/store brand greek 0% yogurt ($1 or less per serving, about 80-100 calories depending on size)
    - Frigo reduced fat string cheese (about $4 for 24, 50 cals each)
    - Sargento thin sliced cheese (40 cals per slice, not bad if you eat cheese on sandwiches<-- mine lasts me FOREVER because I don't)
    - Sometimes Laughing Cow cheese wedges (35 cals each. Creamy swiss stirred in with no salt added tomato sauce with basil and garlic powder is DELISH and about 60 cals for a serving. It tastes like tomato cream sauce if you like that :) )

    Bread:
    - don't eat much of this but I like Nature's Own 40 cal per slice Honey Wheat Bread
    - Mission brand small corn tortillas (80 cals for 2) <-- really good with morningstar grilled crumbles (makes a yummy, high protein, low cal dinner)
    - sometimes those 100 cal sandwich thins. Not often

    Canned:
    - green beans (store brand) at Big Lots you can get a can for 50 cents down in FL. Cheapest I've seen. The whole can is only 70 cals. I LOVE this.
    - black beans or kidney beans<-- not expensive if you buy them dry and a great source of protein. They are higher in cals then I like, but like they say "beans, beans, they're good for your heart...."
    - Libby's Pumpkin puree<-- on sale in my Winn Dixie for less than a dollar. I Love pumpkin anything. This with some cinnamon, splenda and nutmeg is about 120 cals for the whole can. Really filling and yummy! mmmmm

    Fruit:
    - depends on sales and season but normally:
    - kiwi
    - orange
    -grapefruits
    - green apples
    - occasional mango
    -straw berries
    - blueberries
    - peaches
    -nectarines
** Florida has a different kind of fruit selection for lower prices than most other states

    Veggies: (my biggest consumption)
    - kale (is becoming in season in a few weeks<--- low cals and makes AWESOME Kale chips. Alternative to potato chips if you want to try it. They recommend using Olive Oil to coat them. I spray 0 cal olive oil on them and it works just as well!)
    - sweet potatoes (our fruit stand has them for .49 per pound)
    - spinach
    - cucumber
    - celery
    - carrots
    - tomatoes

    Meat:
    - whole turkeys when they are on sale
    - chicken breasts
    - lunch meat
    - turkey sausage

** our ethnic/spanish markets down here have GREAT deals on produce and meat. Example: 5 lbs bag of white potatoes for .99 cents. Look at these places for regular foods cheaper than chain stores.

    Splurges:
    - Hershey's special dark chocolate bar: 180 cals and are often BOGO at 1.09
    - York mint .68 and is 140 cals.

I know I'm boring but this list works for me pretty well. :)
