What's your NSV lately? Mine is I can fit back into my size 28 jeans! Woo Hoo! Happy Dance! :bigsmile:

    Mine is that I got up and ran this morning despite my brain telling me over and over again that I really didn't need to. Yes, yes I did need to, and I feel a million times better that I did it. :smile:

    Mine is that my thighs don't touch when I stand normally. The poor things used to be smooshed together.

    I bought new jeans. As usual, the legs are tight but the waist is loose and in a smaller size.

    My NSV is being told recently I look like I'm losing weight. I also went to the doctor Wednesday and while I told them I did NOT want to know my weight, they did say I lost since my last visit. I'm taking a break on weighing. =]

    My first 5k...and now I am doing two more in the next month(mud run included) and I hope to do 10k soon... A year ago..I would have laughed if someone told me I would actual pay MONEY to run for enjoyment!

    I started cycling about a month ago (not having cycled since early teenage years) and it was hard, 4 miles with a break halfway at about 8mph was as much as I could do, with a couple of days to recover. I have spent this week training for a longer ride I am doing next week. Since monday I have done 52 miles. And some of them have been 12mile round trips without a break. And my speed is 10-12mph. I started this week thinking there was no way I could do a 14mile trip and now I know I can.

    I have also learnt to cycle on roads.

    Today I met up with some people I haven't seen since spring and the first words out of their mouths were, "Did you lose weight? You look skinny!" Hard not to yell "Sure did! Wait till you see me when I'm done!"
