Best iPhone App for Running

Need opinions - MapMyRun, Nike+Running, Runkeeper or Runmeter? I use Nike+Running, but wonder if others are better?

I like RunKeeper over Nike+. I found that Nike+ wasn't as accurate in it's distance measurements, often giving completely different distances for the same exact course. The app also also has to stay on in order to work, and I like that RunKeeper can work in the background.

I tried MapMyRun but just found RunKeeper to be a nicer interface and I liked the tools available. Though, I will occasionally still use MapMyRun just online to, literally, map a run or walking path for something. But it's RunKeeper that I use for all of my outdoor run tracking during my actual runs.

MapMyRun had too many issues for me - it was always off by a couple of miles! I was using RunKeeper for a while and like it. What I didn't love was that I couldn't customize what it called off on what interval. They have recently made some improvements on that though.

I purchased Jog Log and really like it. I think it was $1.99. It also hooks to my Runkeeper account too. VERY customizable on the features. Very happy with it.

I like Nike+GPS and Runkeeper. You can try MapMyRun, Nike and Runkeeper at the same time. I was able to run them concurrently and they all worked in the background. (iphone 4 verified). In any case, if I had to pick one I may pick Runkeeper as that allows you to add in runs which may not have recorded properly or other activities such as triathlons, swimming, etc.

I have tried all and currently use Nike+ GPS watch. He is correct, the one feature that is really cool in Run Keeper is the ability to add a run manually. Other than that I dont think Run Keeper performs as well as some other apps, it does not support any GPS watch data and I didnt like the interface as well.

I found Runkeeper last fall and I've been using it ever since. I've logged over 800 miles total. I like the fact that I can log it for walking, hiking, biking, running and about any other activity outside. My mom has had no luck her it working on her phone. The app would shut off spontaneously, the mileage would be very inaccurate. When we deleted the app and reinstalled it the errors didn't get fixed. But I've never had those types of problems.
She now uses MapMyRun. She loves it. When we bike or walk together I've found that both apps will be within about a tenth of a mile of each other. So they both seem to be very accurate.
I've never done the Nike products so I can't help with that one.

One thing about RunKeeper I really like is that if the GPS messes up (sometimes mine would start a mile from where I actually started!) you can log onto the website later and edit the route and it will recalculate all the stats. Really nice when you run in areas that have sketchy GPS coverage.
