Hey Hey everyone.....quick question. Is it better to go gluten free? I'm trying it out here & there with some stuff but I don't know much about it. Opinions please! :flowerforyou:

It's not necessary unless you have an intolerance to it, like my wife does. It won't speed up weight/fat loss or anything.0

I've noticed that I don't feel bloated or full after eating, just satisfied. I'm not going all gluten free, but I gave up bad carbs like bread, rice, and pasta so I was excited to try the gluten free bread and pasta... BIG DIFFERENCE in how I felt.0

You probably feel that way because you are more forced to eat meat or other protein based produces which have greater satiety properties. BTW, this is paleo/primal type diet. I follow this and only do grains once a week (figured since my wife can't eat it, i try to stay away too for moral support)0 -
If you are not coeliacs then you should be OK.
But I totally agree with you, in that, if I have a few gluten free days I feel so much better (and my tummy seems smalller)
If it is working for you then carry on, it isn`t too hard to go gluten free0 -

Very true, I have been off carbs for a few months, feel better without them (even tho I miss them sometimes!)
LOL, But the gluten free stuff didn't weigh me down. So I was just curious on everyone's opinion to see what other thoughts were. THanks for replying :flowerforyou:0 -
One more thing, another reason you probably feel less bloated is simple; you are more moderate with your carbs. Less carbs means your body stores less glycogen/water.0
