Besides me.

Cut-off for me is probably Into the Woods (Stephen Sondheim) , but I'm really talking about the 1930's to the early 1960's.

All time favorite is Guys and Dolls.

    Singing in the Rain
    - those are some of my faves.

My absolute favorite musical has to be Fiddler on the Roof. Such wonderful music, once I hear one of the songs from that movie I am singing it all day.

Totally! I love them! Have recently discovered and fallen in love with "On Broadway" on Syrius XM Satellite radio. Big fun. I'm not a big Sondheim fan, but love most of the others. Recently have enjoyed "Hairspray" and "The Drowsy Chaperone."

I am a Rogers and Hammerstein fan. Love Cinderella and Sound of Music.

While not American, HMS Pinafore is probably one of my favorite all time musicals (tho it is a British opera)....
  • I tend to gravitate more towards the contemporary "rock opera" type musicals, but I just really love theatre in general and enjoy just about any musical ever.

(Okay, not any musical ever -- there are plenty that I don't particularly love, but you get the point.)
