  • I love to have some honey and cinnimon on mine. It tastes great!
  • I tend to put honey on mine if I want it sweet, and although honey has more calories than sugar for the same amount, I find I need less of it to get the same sweetness. Honey also has a lower Glycaemic Index. On the whole I like to have mine with banana or raspberries or blueberries, as this also helps me get one of my five portions of fruit/veg in early in the day!

Several weeks ago I started to eat Rogers brand porridge, that has the oatbran, wheat bran & flax seeds
& i add 1/4 frozen blackberries & 1/4 frozen blueberries and cook it.
After it is cooked i add 1 tsp of splenda brown sugar & 1/3 cup of skim milk......

It is a large bowl, sweet like dessert & 200 calories..... i am addicted to something healthy now!! :)
  • you could try mixing it with applesauce and cinnamon...just cut back on other liquid a little if you use the applesauce!
  • I've been adding a tbls of peanut butter and a pkg of splenda..

    Hi from Wellington

I like stewed apples (chunky applesauce) that I sweeten with Splenda, and add a little bit of cinnamon

Or blueberries with some sweetener. That's quite yummy too
