Exercise, diet, where to begin.

I go to the gym 5 days a week and bike 10 miles in 30 minutes every time. I'm going off of previous advice to do a little everyday as opposed to overkill a few days a week. I like to read while I'm exercising so that's why I like the bike and treadmill. My question is, am I on the right path?

My diet consists on some days just healthy snacks all day long as opposed to three meals a day. Other days I'll actually get three meals in (with occasional snacks in between) but either method I still make sure and eat sensible and balance out my nutrition (thanks to MyFitnessPal I can keep track of my carbs, fiber, calories, etc.). I do admit though that I usually feel better overall when I do snacks all day as opposed to meals. More energy, sleep better, and it's easier to control my nutrients spread across all my snacks instead of trying to get what I need and not what I don't when eating three times a day.

Now, part of this is seriously seeking advice and opinions from others but admittedly there's part of this that is being a pouting twirp that I can't be one of those with good genes and a high metabolism that goes to the gym because I WANT to not because I HAVE to.

I still don't understand the social aspects of this site either but I think I need to start using it. I need to be held accountable as well as need that little extra push to maintain.

I don't weight in because even if I exercise and diet I don't lose. Granted, if I don't slack off and can maintain a strict regiment of diet and exercise I feel a world better. But... I don't lose weight.

So, there you have it. Any advice? Any opinions? Any anything?

That depends on your overall goal as far as physique and any athletic or fitness related goals you may have. Your training should align with those. It is likely that some form of resistance/weight training would benefit you a great deal.

No issues with the above. Your focus should be on total nutrition. If it's easier to maintain/hit your total nutrient targets by snacking, keep doing that.

I'm not sure what you mean by the above? You don't enjoy the gym? Is that what you're getting at?

More information needed. You aren't losing weight over what course of time? How many calories are you eating on average?
