week a - strength
week b - cardio
week c - circuits
week d - rest
so in theory it would work like this
month 1 - abcd
month 2 - bcda
month 3 - cdab
month 4 - dabc

IMHO, it isn't a good idea to rest for an entire week. A day or two, maybe.
Most people do strength and then cardio afterwards. I'd recommend that 3-4 days per week.
If you really want to do the flip flog thing though, rotate the workouts per day, not per week.0 -

Pretty much this.
I try to do strength workouts six days a week along with cardio afterwards (I usually keep it to around 20 minutes of high intensity), and take every Sunday off, varying the type of strength workout each day (and often cardio too, I would die if I spent six days a week hitting the treadmill).0
