I've ordered a HRM, it's on the way, but until then how should I log the 30 day shed work out? I was thinking "low impact aerobics". Thoughts?

Most folks log it as circuit training with the time.

I logged it as circuit training for 20 min. This gave me a burn of 202 cals. But when I got my HRM and gave it my all, it was more like 300-350. It varies so much person-to-person though.

    Hi!

I have a body media fit armband which is more accurate than a HR monitor. (It's rated the most accurate calorie output measuring device on the market) and when I did 30DS for the first time I burned 198 calories (and I'm not a short/small girl at all). I know it doesn't seem like a lot but most devices over inflate the calories we burn. For a 22 minute workout, that's a respectable burn though, as any really intense workout is going to burn about 600 in an hour and you'd have to kill yourself to get much higher than that.

PS - 30 Day Shred is in the exercise bank, but the caloric burn is off, so I just change it when I log it.

    :) It's a killer workout! Enjoy!
