protein is it bad to

go over you daily MFP limit? as carbs and fat i never eat them all but sum days i go over with protein is this bad?

    i exceeded my protein by 100g LOL.... dont worry about it. if youre going to go over something, protein is the one to go over!! id consider the MFP suggestion the lowest you should go... a lot of people shoot for 30-40% protein :)

    I really wish MFP wouldn't put protein in red when you "go over". It's not a big deal.
  • More than likely not. Your body can only utilize so much, but as long as you are under on calories it's not like it's going to get turned into fat. Some female weight-lifters eat upwards of 200 grams a day, even though I personally think that it's unnecessary. Just shoot for your body weight in grams and you should be great.

    My thought is MFP has protein and fiber set awfully low. I never worry if I go over those.
