My girlfriend and her husband are splitting up and she's obviously struggling. She feels like a failure, etc... Does anyone have any good book recommendations? I'd like to grab her a couple today. She's a reader...

I went through a divorce not too long ago...only time will help. I know this isn't the question you asked, but this is my advice: Spend as much time as you can and are willing to invest in her. Utlimately, she will have to put herself back together.

It's a Breakup not a Breakdown by Lisa Steadman, Getting Past your Breakup by Susan J Elliot It's called a Breakup Because it's Broken by Greg Behrendt (cute and funny in an not so annoying way), and The wisdom of a Broken Heart by Susan Piver (serious but if I remember correctly she gives activities to help you through things )...

I am also a reader and when ever I'm going through something good or bad I surround myself with reads on that subject.. All these books helped me after a pretty bad break up. I downloaded them on my phone and just read to read when all I could think about was him. It really made a difference =) Hope this helps
