I'm not sure how much each day, since it can be incorporated into foods, but when I'm cooking I use olive oil if it's not cooked (on salads, etc) and coconut oil for everything else (makes great eggs and popcorn!). Coconut oil gets a bad rap because it is high in saturated fat, but if you research it, it's actuall much better for your heart/health than other oils. It has a special property that actually promotes heart health (I am not an expert, so I'll leave it there). I only use organic extra virgin coconut oil. Of course - all things in moderation!

Colza, Linseed, Olive, Nut and Hemp oils

Most oils are not meant to heated a high temperature, otherwise the carboxyle group get saturated bonds.

I cook mostly in Supafry 100% Animal Fat.

I have extra virgin coconut oil too, it's good stuff.

I like coconut oil, too. It's great for curries and Indian food and makes *the best* granola. I even sometimes have a wee teaspoon if I'm craving something sweet. Haven't tried it with eggs, but will do!

Of course, it's not good for your heart when you see your total fat intake at the end of the day ;)

But I try not to worry too much about 'good' fats.

Otherwise, I use olive oil (milder for cooking; more expensive extra virgin stuff for salad dressings.) I used to just splash some in the pan, but I'm making more of an effort to measure it now and use less.

I have found that the amount of oil I use sometimes puts me over my calorie limit, so I'm trying to only use what I need. Sometimes I'll even pour a little into a dish and brush it on to the pan. (I've tried the aerosol oils; didn't like them. I guess I could make my own, but it'd be one more thing to wash up.)

And hey, sometimes I even use a little butter.

Not sure of my exact daily intake, but I eat lots of nuts, avocados, and lean meats. I cook only with coconut and olive oil.

I typically don't use much oil everyday, but I cook with either coconut oil, butter, or bacon grease. I use olive oil as well, but not for cooking. My main goal is to keep the ratio of omega 6: omega 3 as healthy as possible.
