I love cereal for breakfast. Right now I eat Special K with berries. I'm looking for something that has more fiber. What cereals do you guys eat?

Coach's Oat's with Trader Joe's Gold Roasted Flaxseed and protein.0

I eat cornflakes with skim milk and add some blueberries.0
-
Kashi golean crunch honey almond flax- it's high fiber and high protein... Or instant high fiber oatmeal0
-
Uncle Sam's- not sold everywhere, but I think Whole Foods for sure. I think its yummy and it has flaxseeds, with more protein than most cereals0

All bran is super high in fibre but not very tasty. You could add fibresure to your milk before pouring it onto your cereal?0
-
Bran flakes perhaps?
little lighter than all-bran but still plenty of fibre, add berries or a light sprinkle of a sweetener too if on its own its too plain0 -
I'M GOING TO TRY KASHI. ALL THEIR CEREALS HAVE 6-7G FIBER PER SERVING. TOTAL IS PRETTY GOOD TOO.0

I love Kashi Go Lean Crunch! It is sweet and tastes like a naughty cereal, LOL.0

i eat a serving of All Bran Buds mixed in a Fiber One yogurt plus some craisins, that pretty much wipes out my fiber goal for the day.0

I like Shredded Wheat and eat it almost everyday for breakfast or a snack.0

Kashi Go Lean and Heart to Heart0

I like the Kashi Go Lean. Has a good amount of protein. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that it is also high in carbs. Well...can't win them all.0

I add raisins to my all bran and use vanilla soy milk. Gives it flavor. I like flavor with my cardboard.
However I normally eat special K in either blueberry, chocolate delight, fruit and yogurt, special berry, or almond and vanilla. And I use light soy milk.Om nom nom. Then I have protein water between breakfast and lunch w/ a small snack.

Kashi Go Lean Crunch
LOTS of fiber and protein. 1 cup of cereal is really filling!

So I checked out the Kashi cereals and they are higher in calories than the Special K I'm already eating.0

But they are more nutrient dense. Higher in protein and fiber, with no HFCS. I stay more full on a bowl of Kashi cereal than I do with a bowl of the Special K (my husband eats Special K red berries, and I have eaten it when I've run out of mine).0 -

Well, obviously. haha. But the reason I started this thread is that I can't get buy on just a half cup of cereal for breakfast. I'm starving an hour later. Sometimes I look at what a serving size is supposed to be and think, "are there really people out there who can get by such a small portion of food?!" Anyway, the reason I started the thread was in hopes of getting ideas of other cereals that might be higher fiber/lower calorie thus allowing me to have a larger portion at breakfast. I'm finding that just isn't the case.0 -

Unfortunately I don't find that to be the case for me. I've eaten bran cereal and had the same problem. Starving an hour later.0 -
Nature's Path Organic Optimum Slim. Delish! Serving is 1 cup, 210 cals, 2g fat, 9 g protein, 40g carbs, 9 g dietary fiber, 7 g sugar, sodium 290 mg. This with a half a cup of milk keeps me full for hours.0

OK so I'm not a cold cereal fan, mainly for the same reasons stated here, there is no stay power.
My fav. breakfast of late. 1/2 dry cup rolled oats 'not the quick cooking type'
2 tbs pecan pieces
1/2 apple diced
Cover with hot water and Micro for 90 seconds
Served with 2 tbls of sf syrup
So yummy and I did not get hungry.
