Why am I getting nowhere?

I've been pretty religiously using my calorie counter, keeping it to around 1200 cals a day. I do cardio every second day (min of 30 min), plus do housework everyday so I burn a fair few cals too. Apart from about a week where I fell off the wagon, I've been keeping this up for about 5 or 6 weeks.... I've lost about 2 lb :grumble:

I just don't know what's happening? I should maybe drink a bit more water, but my diet is healthy and I eat, but not too many, carbs and protein. I would really like to know as I'm feeling dejected and frustrated.

I also wanted to ask about eating my exercise cals. I know there was a thread before explaining it but I can't find it. Should I eat those cals I've burnt or 'save' them?

Given the small amount of weight you have to lose, 2 pounds in 5-6 weeks is great! That is more than enough in that amount of time with your situation. Slow and steady wins the race!

See my other post about healthy eating vs. dieting to understand why this is not a sprint but a marathon we're all in with our eating.
