Fruits, like berries, peaches, and plums are low calorie and filling. I like Kavli garlic toast w/ Laughing Cow cheese spread on it. You can munch on dry cereal like Kashi types. I eat string cheese, almonds, cottage cheese, greek yogurt...all are great for you, you just need to make sure you weigh everything and not just grab a huge handful of almonds. I like to weigh it out ahead of time and bag it up in little snack bags for easy grabbing.0

Fresh fruits and veggies are a good source of fiber as a snack but sometimes it just doesn't work. I like the Fiber one chocolate chewy bars if I am in the need of something sweet. 100 calories, 3 grams of fat, and 5 grams of fiber. The Strawberry BP&J chewy are good too. 110 cal, 3.5 grams fat, and 5 grams of fiber. You want to try and reach a minimun of 25 grams of fiber and a max of 25 grams of fat and drink a min of 64 oz of water. I lost 19.5 lbs in 6 weeks following that rule. Low sodium beef jerky or turkey jerkey. 3 Hard boiled egg whites and 1 whole egg and a pear. 5 grams of fat and it holds me for awile. Celery with the Laughing cow low fat cheese spread wedges. fat free Yogart. If you are feeling like some type of chip: Quakes rice snacks. Mini rice cakes. There are different flavors to choose from fat contents are different one from another. I hope these ideas help.0

Those are some great ideas above! Thank you ladies.
Does anyone have a few ideas for dinners? I have a hungry husband that also needs to slim down and 1 skinny teen at home to cook for, suggestions on filling meals?
My goal is to get everyone in the house eating healthy with tasty meals.0 -
Veg loaded frittata.
Faux pizza (made with a wholemeal tortilla instead of pizza base and with low fat cheese)
Grilled meat with root veg mash.0 -
1. Definitely hard boiled eggs (eggwhites)...
2. Get some romaine lettuce hearts, dijion mustard and deli turkey - make a little snack sandwich! It's YUMMY!!!! I do this for lunch quite a bit along with a cheese stick and some Special K cracker chips.
3. Almonds! I like the 100 calorie packs of the Coco Almonds! They are good and satisfy my sweet tooth for chocolate!
4. Grapes!
5. Apple and peanut butter! Yummy!
6. If you like buffalo chicken, get a can of the 98% fat free white meat chicken and mix it with a little of the 1/3 less fat cream cheese, a little bit of shredded cheddar (low fat), Franks Red Hot Buffalo Sauce, and low fat Ranch ( I use the Bolthouse yogurt ranch dressing because it only has like 45 cal a serving). I also use the romaine lettuce leaves to put this in and create a little sandwich action!

Oatmeal is one of the most filling foods I have ever eaten. It is only 150 calories per serving and I load mine with 5 servings (20g:75 calories) of brown sugar so it tastes like a sweet treat. (225 calories total)0
