What do you do with them? I've done a little research on the computer (not much) and I'd just like to know, how to use them. They certainly sound beneficial.

I used them to make a jam one time, because they absorb water and jell so well... I think the recipe was from Clean Eating magazine? Tasty, but that's the only time I've used them.0

I put them in my overnight oats. I tried them in oatmeal as well before.0

Pretty easy.....I use them in my shakes in the morning...i just add to tablespoons to my almond milk or whatever you like...throw in my protein powder and shake it up, throw it in the fridge and eat it when I want my snack....or you can throw it in your oatmeal, cereal, toppings for a salad, throw it with your eggs....there are several web pages that you can google for chia seed ideas for eating and they are great!! Here is a couple of links for you!! I love them!

I've blended them in smoothies or mixed them into yogurt for a little crunch. Great fiber0

I put them in my overnight oats. I've also got the following recipe in the fridge chilling for dessert tonight. It's supposed to be the texture of rice or tapioca pudding:

Do they taste good?
I haven't bought them yet - maybe on my next grocery shopping day I will. I've seen them at the local Market Basket, a one-pound bag was under $5.00. I've heard so much about them, I want to give them a try!0 -
Anyone hearing that jingle in their heads now? Ch-ch-ch-chia!! Now in Garfield and Scooby-Doo, too! :laugh:0

Add them to just about everything; they can be baked, blended, into whatever. I added them to hamburger; ground turkey, ground chicken and I bet you could even make a coating for your fresh fish. Possibilities are limitless. You don't have to grind, crunch em. They are good to go no matter what you do with them.
Give them a try.0 -
I put them in oatmeal and protein shakes.0
