Football is back, folks! I am so excited about this upcoming season. I love both college and pro football.
Who are your favorite teams? Predictions? Players/coaches you love. Players/coaches that annoy you?

I predict that the Buckeyes go undefeated and can't even go to a bowl game.
Oh and Michigan sucks!0 -

Yep, this 100%
Go Buckeyes!0 -
We watch college football, and i'm an OU fan, but honestly, I don't care who's playing, as long as football is on the tv and there is an ice cold beer in my hand.0

I'm a GA Bulldog girl!0

Chicago Bears Girl!!!0

I'm an aggie, so I follow all things Texas A&M. The Saints are my favorite NFL team, though I follow any NFL team with aggies I watched while in school.
So I follow the Dolphins and Broncos quite a bit as well.0 -
Patriots Fan!!!0

VIKINGS BABY
and my second favorite team....
anyone who plays (and beats) the Cowboys.0 -
Packer fan here, and for college I cheer for Michigan State.
I don't cheer for Michigan, but there is one player on the football team (plays defense) who played hockey with my son in high school, so I always cheer for him to do well.0 -
USC/ 49ers0
-
TEXANS fan! Glad the season started, felt like forever lol0
-
I am a Texas Aggie fan...but they left the Big 12 so I had to pick a new team to cheer on since we might not get as many A&M games on TV. So now I am going for TCU HornFrogs!! However, Aggies didn't do so bad against the Gators this past Saturday!!
I do not watch NFL.....and I am sure none of you want to hear my reasons!! So, I will just let it go!!0 -
Go Oklahoma State.0
-
Not really into College ball but I love the NFL. I am a Steelers Girl forever and ever!! Last week's game was luck that the Bronco's won but I predict another Superbowl win!!!0
-
Da Bears!!!! and also the Lions haha. I know it sounds crazy but I don't care. I love watching all football though so it doesn't matter. I don't really follow college football much but my step-sister goes to Iowa so I'd have to go with the Hawkeyes and also the Fighting Illini woo hoo!!!0

There will actually be more Aggie games on TV and national TV than ever thanks to the SEC's television contract being a lot better than the Big XII's.0 -
Chargers baby!0

GO GATORS!0

I am a West Virginia Mountaineers college football fan and a Detroit Lions NFL fan. I don't really do predictions. It seems futile to me, because football is so unpredictable.
There are plenty of players/coaches that annoy me -- in no particular order- stream of consciousness of dislike - Mike Vick/ Eagles, Eli Manning/ Giants, Ray Lewis/Ravens, Ben Roethlisberger/ Steelers, Jay Cutler/ Bears, Rex Ryan/Jets, Frank Beamer/ Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Michigan, Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, Pitt Panthers, Miami Hurricanes, Ohio State, USC, Syracuse... and a lot more.
I have reasons for each, if anyone is curious - i'm not saying they are "good reasons," but they are reasons... and they're mine0 -
LOL @ Wolverine. Yeah, you listed some pretty divisive characters on that one. I'm going to have to put Rex Ryan on the top of my list. I sometimes wonder if he's a football coach or a Ringmaster at a big circus. Wait a minute, that's Jerry Jones too. lol0

I'm not a fan of either school but I've been watching that Ohio State v Michigan rivalry since I could crawl. It's a great rivalry, especially back when Bo Schembechler and Woody Hayes were coaching. (Okay, I'm dating myself)0

I don't know if you want to use the word "luck" and Peyton Manning in the same breath. He shredded that Steeler defense in the second half. You guys were also playing with your safety who cannot play in high altitudes due to a childhood illness.0

I'm a Texans fan myself. JJ Watt was a force last Sunday. I'm still worried about the right side of that offensive line but hopefully things will gel those guys as the season goes on.0

I watched as my Bengals stunk the place out last night on Monday Nigh Football. Taylor Mays must be released. The 49ers say he was worthless and cut their losses. Our staff has been builing the guy up but he stinks. Better luck next week vs Cleveland0

Hail to the Redskins!!! Woot, woot!!! :drinker: I know we say this every year...but I think this year might actually be a good one. Strong O-line, good defense, depth within the team. But this is Washington so who knows.
Lets go TERPS! I am a University of Maryland Alumn and love going to the games. Even when we have no quarterback and only a miracle would get us into a bowl game.0 -
I watched the best game I have seen in a long time Saturday evening. It wasn't College or NFL. It was my sons team (13-14yrs old). They finally won in triple overtime 18-12. All of the fans were on their feet screaming and cheering their team on. It was a wonderful thing to be a part of!
I know it doesn't relate to the current subject so I will just leave this here: War Eagle!0 -
Nothing wrong with cheering for your kids. If you're a parent, that's even better than what's on the tube. Good for them!0
-
I feel your pain Bengal fan. Ed Reed abused my Texans in the playoffs last year. He's the ultimate ball hawk and the Raven defense has been solid for years now. What's scary is that Flacco might even be considered an elite qb before the season is over. But it's only the first game, a lot can change between now and week 17. Andy Dalton needs better protection than what he got last night though.0
