Which calorie needs calculator to go by??

I'm thinking I either need to lower my calories or up my calories, MFP lowered my calories a little bit, but I used google and found a few calorie needs calculators to determine how many calories I need to lose 1 pound per week. All the other calculators say right around 1800, but MFP says 1590. My weight loss has been verrrrry slow over the last few months and I'm not sure how to fix it. I am happy that the overall trend is downward, but only losing a couple pounds a month seems odd to me for how hard I work.
Please let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks!

I suspect what is happening is that the other calculators are taking your activity into account and giving you "credit" for those calories burned by giving you a higher target. MFP is giving you a lower target and then if/when you log that activity will add the calories to your daily target.
You mention that your weight loss has been very slow. Have you increased muscle tone, or are you getting close to your goal. That would account for slower weight loss. The amounts don't sound way high or way low, so you may just have to experiment a bit.0 -

I would have to agree they are probably taking exercise/activity into account. Although, I cannot really offer any advice given I dont know your height, weight, sex, age, bf%, goal weight, etc.0 -
Thank you for replying! Yes, the other calculators do ask how many times a week you exercise. I forgot MFP doesn't do that so that could definitely be why. My original goal was to lose 69 pounds to get to my goal weight and I've only lost 17 so I have a ways to go still. I started May 1st and lost 9 pounds that month and then it's been slowing down. I have lost quite a few inches and i did before and after pics yesterday to see progress. (Profile pic)
Even with watching my sodium I still fluctuate a lot. From day to day it can easily fluctuate 2-3 pounds. A couple weeks ago I took off a week from being strict w/diet and exercise cause my kid was in the hospital. Thankfully I didn't gain anything, but when I went back to my routine I lost a pound, but then started fluctuating again. This is partly why I'm wondering if I need to increase a little bit.0
