How's this for an NSV?! This afternoon I was walking across a pretty empty parking lot on my way to an impromptu pedicure, dressed for work, in sensibly heeled sandals and a flowy dress and jacket. It's a beautiful day. An older African-American woman in a big old truck driving toward me, slows down and she says: "I just have to say something. I know you don't know me from anybody and you'll probably think I'm crazy but watching you walk...girl! You look like a supermodel! You should teach a class! I would like to know how to walk like that!" With a blushing thank you, I continued to walk - a few inches taller.
Funny how shedding a few (18) pounds can improve your confidence. I hope you all are feeling as good as you look and letting it show!

My grandmother who is obsessed with reality TV said to me once "you are SO pretty! You should be on America's Next Top Model!". And I said "Nanny, they are all skinny little sticks."
