what would you do if your friend after a break up with a boy she was dating for years was gaining a ton of weight like a very skinny girl and is not heavier average and basically eating non stop?( my friend is doing that and I dont know if I can do something without her getting offended or help her in some way

If you guys are friends, I think you need to have a quiet word with her about your concerns. Dont approach it about the weight or the eating. Tell her your worried about her and the way she is coping after the seperation.0

Invite her to go to the gym with you? Or whatever workout you do. If you don't want to bring up the weight gain, just mention that the endorphines will make her feel better-because they will! And maybe being at the gym or just getting out and doing something will make her realize on her own that she needs to stop trying to mend her heart with food.0

I'm sure she knows she's gaining...and probably right now doesn't care. Just be there for her and offer to go to the gym with her or go walking. Tell her that eating too much will only make her feel worse. Just be there for her...0

Take her to do stuff non-food related. Go dancing! Or play pool! Or swimming, or hiking, or whatever! Just get her moving and distracted particularly if you do it in a place that she might get some positive male attention0
