Overseas travel

My husband and I have the great pleasure to travel to South Korea and Japan before Christmas. We will be gone nearly a month. We are both eat vegan. Any suggestions for food choices so we can at the very least maintain our weights?

I just came back from Japan in April and I must say, as a vegetarian it was VERY tough!! Their diet consists mainly of fish and meats, and almost everything else is carbs. Lots of ramen, soba, white rice, etc. They also have the most delicious snacks in the world! Lots of chocolatey goodness.

Needless to say I gained a few lbs while I was there... Are you like me and completely opposed to eating fish? Because that would help you out a lot, pretty sure that's how they stay so skinny!
  • Thanks for your reply. I guess the strategy will be to lose as much weight as we can before we go and understand that we are not at home and go with the flow diet wise.
Hopefully extra walking to see the sights will help!
