Hello

Fed up being a fat middle aged person, in truth I have been overweight most of my adult life so I started dieting again....about 6 weeks ago. I have weighed about 17 stones(UK) c 240lbs or thereabouts for years now.

I need to change. It started well, as usual, then, before my motivation flagged i found this app. For me it has been a revalation in keeping me focussed and the ability to find and create foods is invaluable.

240 lbs 6th August.....216lbs12th Sept. Magic

Good luck to everyone.

Alan

Yes Myfitnesspal keeps me very focused, not only am I aware of what I am putting into my body but how much I am exercising as well and this app makes me feel accountable, I have to answer to myself and this app don't lie.I cant pretend I only had 1200 calories when I scarfed down a pizza, nope daily log is brutally honest and I also can't give myself more credit for exercise than I deserve!!! Sometimes frustrating but excellent in keeping me on track and well behaved diet wise.

Hello and thank you. Fingers and toes are crossed but this app has really got me thinking about what I eat so I am optomistic.

    Good Luck

That is it exactly. I used to cheat (in a food sense) all the time and surprise surprise my weight loss was never sustained. I record everyting in the daily record, its the only way.

    Good luck
